Christian Wood won’t return until next week at the earliest due to a thumb fracture in his left hand, sources told Marc Stein of Substack.
Wood, who is missing more time than initially expected, has now missed seven games with the injury.
Wood and the Mavs have opened up talks over a contract extension, but they remain in preliminary discussions according to Stein.
